• All participants must come to class with the appropriate textbook for the class they are attending. The current book is the 2020 Edition. Books may be available in the UTMB Bookstore. • You must complete the pre-course work for all ACLS and PALS Classes.  This must be completed prior to the class start. You can find the pre-course work at https://elearning.heart.org/.

To retrieve a copy of your AHA ecard:

• Go to https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards
• Type in your information to retrieve a new copy.

To receive your card via TEXT message:

• Ensure your cell number is on your AHA account.
• Text “Ecard,” to 51736.

To complete the online options:

• Go to https://elearning.heart.org/
• Under find a course type in “BLS ,” or “ACLS”, or “PALS.”(You will need to complete each online courses to receive each card).
• Pay for and complete the online courses.
• Print your certificate of completion and bring it to the skills verification.
