Didactic Lectures, Conferences and Committees

Ambulatory Clinic Report
Ambulatory Clinic Report (ACR) is a resident driven presentation during didactics that addresses a challenging outpatient clinical case. This experience is designed to emphasize Practice- Based Learning and

Journal Club

and faculty discuss the findings and decide on the application to clinical practice. This is part of the PGY3 Capstone experience. We utilize the ABFM's National Journal Club for articles and discussions.
Morbidity & Mortality (M&M)
M&M is a monthly resident-run conference involving the analysis of adverse outcomes in-patient outcomes, through peer review. The objectives of the M&M conference are to identify adverse outcomes associated with medical error, to modify behavior and judgment based on previous experiences, and to prevent repetition of errors leading
to complications.
