Certified Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program

UTMB Health is accepting applications for our CNA Apprenticeship Program!

Program Benefits
The program's next cohort begins Monday, Aug. 4, and it offers:

  • Full-time employment and benefits as a Hospital Aide Minimum starting wage of $15/hour, with increases during the first year

  • Paid on-the-job training and classroom instruction approved by Texas Health and Human Services

  • Ongoing mentorship from clinical instructors and experienced Patient Care Technicians dedicated to your success

  • Promotion to Patient Care Technician and eligibility to take the CNA certification exam upon successful completion of the training

Eligibility Requirements
Program participants must be age 18 or older; have a high school diploma or GED; and be physically able to stand for long periods and lift more than 50 pounds.
