In September 2018, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) opened the doors to a new building located on the UTMB Health League City Campus. UTMB Health will continue to provide cancer services at its Galveston, League City and Angleton campuses, but will be moving many of its Surgery and Cancer clinics to the second floor of the new building.
Both organizations have a long commitment to innovative patient care in the Houston/Galveston area. With this collaboration, patients will have even greater access to convenient, comprehensive, high-quality care, ranging from routine check-ups to specialized medical needs, including cancer screening, treatment and survivorship services.
