We manage tools and share information to keep the UTMB community engaged and informed about the university’s great work, breaking news and important initiatives.

Media Relations and Crisis Communications

We coordinate UTMB's interaction with the news media, and support our faculty in highlighting their discoveries, services and contributions. We also keep people informed during any crisis.

We nurture UTMB's brand, to represent us consistently to those we serve. We use technology and design to deliver content and serve UTMB’s many customers.

Community Engagement and Provider Outreach

We work directly with the public to build relationships and improve the health of the communities we serve. We also nurture relationships between providers and healthcare organizations to enhance patient care, lower costs, improve efficiency and patient safety – and bolster provider satisfaction and retention.
