Meredith Masel, PhD, MSW
Dr. Masel provides leadership and management of the Center. She sees the Oliver Center as an incubator for patient-centered programs that make the experience of being a patient, care partner, and/or provider easier and safer. She is also an Assistant Professor in the School of Public and Population Health and uses this role for work such as multi-site clinical trials with
co-PIs at Dartmouth College and Vanderbilt University to study the impact of audio recording during doctor appointments among older patients who have multimorbidity. See Dr. Masel's Curriculum Vitae (PDF).
Caley Satterfield, EdDCoordinator
Dr. Satterfield joined the Oliver Center in 2022 and provides support to ensure alignment of the center work within the Health System as well as support for our programs. Dr. Satterfield completed her doctorate of education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston with an emphasis on Learning, Design, and Technology. Before joining the Oliver Center, Dr. Satterfield spent 13 years working with global and community health programs at UTMB. See Dr. Satterfield's Curriculum Vitae (PDF).
