Our Mission

The Department of Radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of diagnostic and interventional radiology through excellence in clinical care, research, and education.

We provide accurate, timely, and compassionate imaging services that inform critical clinical decisions and enhance patient outcomes. Our faculty and trainees are engaged in high-impact research that drives innovation in imaging technologies, artificial intelligence, and image-guided therapies. Through rigorous academic programs, we educate and mentor the next generation of radiologists, medical physicists, and imaging scientists, preparing them to lead in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Annual Bra Dazzle Event Donation

UTMB Health received a $22,500 donations from the Bra Dazzle Committee event. The committee collaborates with @SantaFeTxChamber. The funds support the UTMB Mobile Mammography program which focuses on underinsured and uninsured women in Galveston County.
