Galveston County Daily News, March 22, 2024 The Daily News highlighted research from UTMB that found that Hispanic Americans live longer lives despite socioeconomic factors that tend to lead to shorter lives. Many cultural factors including family support systems help give Hispanic Americans greater life expectancy and overall health advantage, UTMB’s Dr. Kyriakos Markides told the Daily News.
