The entry-Level Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) is designed for students with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree who want to become licensed occupational therapists.

Admissions Requirements

Application Opens: July 18, 2025
Program Application Deadline: January 31, 2026

Applications will be open through OTCAS, the centralized OT application system. Our program has a rolling admissions process; applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the class of 60 is filled and the alternate list is complete.

Applicants are encouraged to apply early for the early rounds of selection. Interviews will be held September 2025 through February 2026. Under the Application Process section, read bullet #7 for our rolling admissions policy.

  • Observation Hours

    Applicants must complete a minimum of 20 clock hours of observation or volunteer experience in a variety of occupational therapy settings, prior to the application deadline date. Applicants are strongly encouraged to observe in a variety of OT practice settings to understand the scope of practice.
