Welcome
The State of Texas has recently implemented an emergency rule impacting Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) requirements for public institutions of higher education. The University of Texas System, as well as UTMB, is currently reviewing and updating its HUB policies, procedures, and associated documentation to align with this rule. During this period, HUB participation goals, plans, and related requirements may be subject to change. Updates will be posted to this page as soon as they are finalized. For questions in the interim, please contact Glenda Badgett at 409-266-1094.

It is the policy of The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston to promote full and equal opportunity for all businesses in purchasing and contracting operations. Commitment to a good faith effort to fully utilize State Historically Underutilized
