This year, ACAPS is strongly encouraging all programs to use the Plastic Surgery Common Application (PSCA) for integrated residency applications. The PSCA is a free, plastic surgery-specific application crafted to both improve the residency application process and decrease financial barriers to students. Although some plastic surgery programs still accept ERAS, our program is only using the PSCA. You may use this link to access the PSCA: https://psca.accessgme.com/
Following secure account creation, applicants can request letters of recommendation and standardized scores directly from the portal. MSPE and transcript requests will automatically be sent to your medical school at the time of account creation. As in years prior the match will remain with National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
For more information on the PSCA visit the FAQs page to learn more. Any additional questions or concerns should be addressed to help@accessgme.com.
Interview Dates for 2024 - 2025 Season:
Friday, January 3, 2025
Monday, January 6, 2025
Tuesday, January 7, 2025
ACAPS has set forth a policy that all integrated plastic surgery programs will coordinate when they announce interview dates and distribute interview invitations. The purpose of this is to improve the efficiency of scheduling for applicants and programs.
Advanced planning is intended to help applicants better plan for travel and to minimize cancellation and rescheduling of interviews.
Interview Policy (acaplasticsurgeons.org)
Our program will distribute the initial round of interview invitations on Tuesday, November
12, 2024 by 2:00pm. Interview scheduling or confirmation by the programs must not start
