Welcome to the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. As we continue to grow to meet community needs, we are expanding our services to include four convenient campuses in Southeast Texas. We offer the full spectrum of procedures for any vascular problem and collaborate
extensively with our cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, and podiatry programs. We have multidisciplinary treatment teams concentrating on complex aortic disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, limb salvage, diabetic foot problems, dialysis access, and
vascular trauma. With our newly established comprehensive vein & lymphatic center, we are excited to bring a new focus on the unique challenges of lymphedema and venous disorders, including chronic limb swelling, venous leg ulcers, and cosmetic
vein issues.
The vascular team offers the most advanced minimally invasive treatment options while weighing the benefits of more traditional surgical procedures, and always strives to tailor therapy to our individual patients’ needs and goals. Our aim is to
match the right procedure to the right patient and deliver patient-centered value. We work with our medical colleagues to optimize overall patient care, prevent disease progression, and minimize the need for future surgical intervention. Our Vascular
Surgeons are fully committed to comprehensive care for chronic vascular disease with multi-modality treatment plans and life-long follow-up.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions about our programs, services, or multidisciplinary collaborative care model. We would be happy to consult with your primary care provider about a referral to UTMB Vascular Surgery.
Sincerely,
