  • Dr. Gerald A Beathard graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas receiving both an MD and a PhD degree. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Pathology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and Interventional Nephrology.

    Dr. Beathard has been involved with endovascular procedures performed for dialysis vascular access maintenance procedures since 1985. He has published more than 100 articles in peer reviewed medical journals, writes 14 topics for UpToDate, and has authored 62 book chapters and 12 monographs.

    He is currently a full-time member of the Staff of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he is involved with the Interventional Nephrology program.
