Application Process & Specific Prerequisites
The Entry-Level Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program includes both didactic and clinical courses totaling 113 credit hours of coursework over a period of 3 years.
We offer two OTD program tracks based on location - Galveston, Texas and Laredo, Texas. Depending on your program track, the first 2 years occur on the Galveston or Laredo campus with the final year at offsite clinical rotations.

Applications will be open through OTCAS, the centralized OT application system. You will have the option to select if you want to apply for the Galveston track, the Laredo track, or be considered for both programs. Our program has a rolling admissions process; applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
